Regional Sales Manager for UK Mobile Devices
Monday, July 21, 2008 - An American based manufacturer of mobile devices and services that improve wireless operators ARPU is recruiting an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the UK. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales to mobile operators, distributors, developing channel sales, and retail distribution. This position offers a competitive base salary with up to a 50% bonus/commissions, plus additional performance accelerators.

This is an ideal position for the entrepreneurial revenue-making rainmaker whose has a strong background in selling handsets to the mobile operators. You will be developing and managing the transactional-based sales cycles for mobile devices to mobile operators in England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. Must have strong C-level contacts, as well as contacts within the product management, product marketing, and buyer groups within the major mobile operators in the UK. . The ideal candidate has lived and worked in the mobile wireless industry in either the USA for at least 3 years in having learned capitalistic, risk-taking, aggressiveness, decision-making, and entrepreneurial attitude as a way of managing sales.

Requires a Bachelor degree with 3+ years experience in the mobile industry working for a handset vendor or handset distributor vendor (not operator) as a Country Manager or Regional Sales Manager covering the UK. Must possess a proven track record in meeting and exceeding quotas year after year. Must be thoroughly familiar with the major UK mobile operators (Hutchison, T-Mobile, Vodafone, O2, Three, OneTel, Virgin) and distributors/retailers (HWF, CarPhone Warehouse, Brightstar, Hugh Symons, Avenir Telecom, Phones4U). and setting up retail channel sales.

Company offers a base salary of up to €100k plus potential plus performance accelerators to equal potential of €180k total annual package. Bonuses are based on meeting/exceeding sales quotas and performance targets. You must be a UK, EU, USA, or Australian citizen and work from your home office. Complete company paid benefits. Local candidates in the UK only please unless you want to move to the UK on your own dime.......no relocation expenses provided.
